About The Role

The Marketing Manager – Central Projects will be a central part of the marketing team, focussed on projects that will drive growth for PEI Group products.

You will work closely with the marketing teams, data teams and the external data research agency to increase ROI from data research spend.

You will also work across a number of growth projects to drive growth for PEI events products, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Events Marketing teams. You will be responsible for creating and executing on projects plans while making sure all stakeholders are kept updated. 

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the relationship with the data research agency in India to ensure data quality standards are met
  • Track and report on data spend against budget and acquisition targets broken down by brand / asset class / customer group and alert marketers when we’re underspending or not on track to hit acquisition targets
  • Work closely with the data, campaigns and marketing teams to make sure we are getting the best return from data research spend
  • Project manage new initiatives to maximise marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI across the events portfolio. Ensure that all projects have detailed plans and work with the wider teams to execute these plans.
  • Ensure that new initiatives/projects are rolled out effectively across the whole events portfolio and the events marketing team are kept up to date with new initiatives
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to proactively identify new opportunities for marketers to use existing and new digital marketing tools to maximize campaign ROI
  • Work with the Marketo agency to ensure Marketo initiatives are set up correctly and optimised when needed

About You

Knowledge/Skills (essential):

  • Bachelor’s Degree - B.S. or B.A., preferably in marketing
  • Minimum four years working in an events marketing or B2B marketing role
  • Capable project manager, able to work and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Data literate: segmentation, integrity, deduping
  • Effective in dealing and negotiating with third party suppliers and agencies
  • Understanding of digital marketing metrics – particularly ROI
  • Able to build and execute a detailed plan for campaigns and projects
