About The Role

We at PEI Group are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our welcoming, diverse, and growing team based here in London.

The successful candidate will join a high performing sales team and the role would suit someone with prior BDR experience or customer/prospect facing role within a B2B environment. 

You will be working in our Acquisition team across APAC, EMEA and US conducting outreach to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to build engagement for our sales function.    

Your responsibility is to manage lead generation, be the first line of communication with a prospect and manage sales activities. We are looking for individuals who are strong at building relationships with potential customers and driving engagement.


What you will be doing on a practice basis

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify potential customers, including cold calling and emailing.
  • Proactively call and engage with incoming prospects that match our ICP.
  • Generate leads and build engagement by nurturing prospects to create qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  • Research organisations within key sectors of the market, working closely with the Sales Leadership to identify new logo acquisition targets.
  • Seek out new contacts through research to create opportunities and build a strong pipeline of potential customers to support the sales effort.
  •  Book multiple virtual meetings daily on behalf of Senior Sales Executive’s with decision makers in relevant organizations.
  • Create and maintain accurate up-to-date records in our Microsoft CRM, ensuring best practice on internal processes. Ensure all exchanges with prospective customers are fully documented.
  • Have a thorough understanding of our market and product offerings.

About You

Requirements

Experience:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (essential)
  • Experience interacting and engaging with customers/ clients in a professional work environment (essential)
  •  Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving quotas (desired)
  •  An interest in Private Equity and the enthusiasm to learn more about the industry (desired)
