About The Role

We at PEI Group are looking for an Acquisitions Team Lead to join our welcoming, diverse, and growing team based here in New York.

This is a non-selling managerial position, where you have responsibility for the New York based Acquisitions sales team.

Our ‘Acquisition’ team works globally covering all web activities for all new subscriber organisations and, for the first nine months, any organisation that is sold to by this team. This role will take responsibility of all supervision of all Acquisition Sales Executives in New York. The NY Acquisition team currently budgeted at 5 FTE’s is a 100% inside sales team pitching clients over the phone, through email and product demonstrations virtually.


What does the job role involve?

You are responsible for the Day to Day running of the Acquisitions Sales Team. Management duties of the role include:

  • KPI measurement and reporting for the whole team and well as individual performance.
  • Revenue reporting and forecasting.
  •  Activities management of sales resource.
  • CRM usage and adoption, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Data strategy, coverage, and prioritization of inbound lead flow.
  • Responsible for training and development program, working alongside wider Information Subscription Sales leadership team to deliver a consistent methodology.
  • Creation, implementation, and delivery of induction program for new Information Subscription Sales Executives.
  •  Have a thorough understanding of the market and products. Liaise with colleagues within the business in order to keep up to date with the latest product developments and through your own research.

About You


  • Minimum 18+ months B2B sales leadership experience (essential) and ideally within a subscriptions product environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (essential)
  • An interest in financial markets and the enthusiasm to learn more about the industry (essential)
  • Prior experience working in a structured sales environment and a in depth understanding of successful sales techniques (essential)
  • Experience managing a team and developing training strategies (essential)
  • Experience interacting and engaging with customers/ clients in a professional work environment (essential)
  • Experience selling into new logos (essential)
