About The Role

This is an opportunity for a candidate with a solid grounding in accounting, finance or economics to develop in-depth knowledge of infrastructure projects and private equity companies, along with the financial frameworks that underlie them.

The core of the role is transaction analysis. You will review equity transactions involving unlisted infrastructure and private equity constituents to understand pricing dynamics, global deal flow and valuation levels, and collect transaction-based multiples for use as equity price inputs. You will carry out the equivalent work on the debt side, assessing debt structures and financing arrangements for unlisted constituents, including the terms of debt issuance, covenants and interest rates, in order to derive debt pricing inputs.

Supporting this, you will research individual infrastructure projects and private equity companies and maintain their financial data in SIPA's database of unlisted assets, including the review and input of financial statements. This work provides the asset-level context needed to interpret transactions correctly and to identify the right comparables.

In addition, the role will serve as a key user of an AI tool currently under development. This includes using the tool in day-to-day transaction research, validating and refining its outputs, providing structured feedback to improve its performance, and helping shape its development so that it better supports pricing analysis, company identification, and transaction intelligence workflows.
