The position
This is an opportunity for candidate with a foundational understanding of accounting, finance or economics majors to foster an in-depth knowledge in infrastructure projects and private equity companies, along with the financial frameworks that underlie them.
This role involves conducting thorough equity price and debt analyses for unlisted constituents, aiming to collect transaction-based multiples for equity and debt inputs from the market. Subsequently, derive meaningful insights applicable to infrastructure and private equity investments. This involves reviewing equity transactions to grasp pricing dynamics, global deal flows, and equity valuations. Additionally, they will assess debt structures and financing arrangements for unlisted constituents, including terms of debt issuance, covenants, and interest rates.
Starting with the scrutiny and input of financial statements, this role also entails conducting research and analysis on infrastructure projects and private equity companies, with a specific focus on gathering and maintaining financial data within a database encompassing unlisted infrastructure and private equity assets.
In addition, the role will serve as a key user of an AI tool currently under development. This includes using the tool in day-to-day transaction research, validating and refining its outputs, providing structured feedback to improve its performance, and helping shape its development so that it better supports pricing analysis, company identification, and transaction intelligence workflows.
