About The Role

The Sales Operations Executive plays a key role in supporting the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of our global sales organisation. This role is responsible for maintaining sales processes and CRM systems, ensuring data integrity, and delivering timely reporting and insights to Sales Leadership. The position also supports pipeline management, forecasting, and sales enablement activities such as onboarding and tools administration. In addition, the role coordinates customer-facing deliverables across a global product portfolio, including publishing and conference deadlines, digital advertising campaigns, and sponsored content distribution. By collaborating with internal teams and external partners, the Sales Operations Executive ensures seamless execution, consistent customer experience, and alignment of sales operations with broader company initiatives.

 
  • Assist in the day-to-day execution of sales processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across teams and geographies.
  • Maintain the CRM system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365), including data entry, hygiene checks, reporting updates, and user support.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on sales performance, pipeline health, and KPIs, providing actionable insights to Sales Leadership.
  • Help monitor pipeline data, track deal progress, and support accurate forecasting.
  • Assist with onboarding new sales reps, updating sales playbooks, and ensuring the team has access to up-to-date tools and content.
  • Support territory mapping, quota distribution, and documentation under guidance from Sales Ops leadership.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales data and processes with company-wide initiatives.
  • Provide first-line support for sales tools (CRM, enablement platforms, reporting tools), escalate issues, and help ensure adoption.
  • You will be working with a global set of internal and external customers to co-ordinate, organise and manage customer experience.
  • The role will require coverage of a global product portfolio and working to strict publishing or event deadlines and contractual client delivery across a mix of publishing & conferences across multiple time zones.
  • Managing website and email advertising artwork collection and delivery to the digital ad agency.Ensuring the schedules are up to date and delivered as booked.
  • Collecting digital ad reports for each client and sending to the relevant marketing solutions manager
  • Managing the upload of sponsored content on respective LinkedIn channels, producing and delivering reporting to the relevant marketing solutions manager
  • Monitoring and collating traffic reports for sponsored content appearing on each website and sending to the relevant marketing solutions manager
  • Ad book spreadsheet management and administration
 

About You

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in an operations or logistics role.  Prior experience of working in the events/media/publishing preferable.  Evidence of working to strict deadlines.  Experience in a client facing role, comfortable across all communication channels.  
  • Familiar with the use of a CRM system.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Microsoft office competency, in particular Word and Excel.
  • Administrative skills and accuracy of your work is essential.
  • You will need to be persuasive to support and organise clients to meet and fulfil contractual delivery obligations.
  • Accuracy of your work and diligence
  • Resilient under pressure – able to remain focused in the face of multiple competing priorities and ensure key deadlines are met.
  • Able to Multi-task across any number of products and projects at any one time.  You will be arranging client collateral, confirming sponsor attendance across time zones.
  • A good communicator, you are comfortable working with an external customer base.
  • Personable and professional, comfortable in a client facing delivery role.
  • Organised with the ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take responsibility.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, operating across departments and regions.
  • Motivated by achieving high levels of client experience and satisfaction.
  • An appreciation of how central client delivery is to sustaining long term successful business relationships.
