About The Role

The marketing team will be strategic partners to the business, collaborating to design and deliver customer-centric, creative and high-performance programs which improve brand preference, engage more market professionals and underpin commercial success.

The Senior Marketing Executive, based in London, will be responsible for driving quality traffic to our digital information platforms, networks and events websites. You’ll be expert at targeting our TAM audiences through organic and paid search, and work with Digital Marketing Operations (DMO) colleagues to provide advice and support to marketers in the asset class teams. 

 
Responsibilities and duties 
  • Strategy and support on SEO for our digital information platforms websites, ensuring they are fully optimised for best practice SEO and reporting back to key stakeholders on success and recommendations for improvements.
  • Working with both the Subs and Event Digital Marketing Operations Managers to manage our Marketing Automation Platform, Marketo. You will have knowledge of the capabilities of a Marketing Automation Platform. Within Marketo you will build landing pages. You will help create and test automated email series to promote 18 editorial brands, our membership events and 40+ events.You will learn Marketo Measure and ensure our team have access to real-time reporting with relevant dashboards and views.
  • As required update the content on the PEI Group company site. 
  • Bring your expert knowledge of PPC to help build strategy, monitor paid campaigns to ensure key targets are met and report back to asset class marketers on campaign performance.
  • You’ll work closely with external agencies, briefing, project managing and delivering improved paid and organic search improvements.
  • Use your social media knowledge to educate marketing colleagues, work with dedicated social media experts and help to optimise quality site traffic and engagement from our various social media channels.
  • Reporting and analysis for marketing channel performance, including email, paid media, social media & organic search. Present back to key stakeholders with recommendations for improvements.
  • Working with your colleagues in Digital Marketing Operations on UAT testing for new product launches and email flows.
  • Maintaining a calendar of all Subs, Events and Membership marketing activity across the year.

About You

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree and experience working in a marketing position within a DMO team within a similar B2B Business Intelligence/Information Services organisation.
  • Track record of working closely and efficiently with marketing colleagues, communicating effectively, developing and delivering programs to drive growth.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence and educate peers and leaders in marketing and across the business.
  • Excellent planning, project management and performance analysis skills; adept at multi-tasking, prioritisation and stakeholder reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting successful inbound and outbound marketing programmes resulting in increased demand, leads, and revenue.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques, technologies, tools and ways to improve efforts and outcomes including through emerging technologies e.g. AI
  • A proactive approach to learning, exploring best practise, testing and implementing in the business, reporting results both at a tactic level and business impact level.
