About The Role

The role of Marketing Solutions Manager - PE Hub is to work with the wider business to optimise advertising and sponsorship sales across digital platforms (newsletters and websites) through proactively identifying, targeting and closing relevant prospects through understanding their marketing and client needs, as well as developing packages that reflect that need across PE Hub’s range of digital platforms. 
 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Selling advertising packages direct to clients and advertising agencies across the portfolio of titles include the market leading Daily Wire and weekly Canada Wire, Healthcare Wire and Deals Wire.
  • Selling digital Keynote Interview packages, podcasts (both single and multi-episodes) and video via phone and face-to-face meetings with clients in the private equity and debt markets globally.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop a sales plan for your sector that reflects targets for existing and prospective clients
  • Submit accurate and detailed sales reports each week and provide detailed weekly update of prospect pipeline.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders within editorial & special projects, logistics, marketing, and conference programming.

About You

Person Specification

  • Energetic, experienced salesperson with a demonstrable track record of selling advertising space and sponsored content propositions (both) to NY based financial institutions and advertising agencies and beyond.
  • Someone who is creative, consultative who is as comfortable handling big advertising clients (+$100k relationships) as they are winning smaller accounts.
  • A salesperson who can build internal relationships as well as external ones and has worked with an editorial team in the past and has sold from media-packs.
  • Self-motivated – you will be responsible for your own target and be expected to drive new business to achieve this, in addition to the existing accounts provided.
  • Considered and thoughtful - this is a strategic sales role that requires a nuanced approach to clients.
  • Organised – this role includes researching and compiling sales leads sourced by you and colleagues; input and update all your sales prospects, contacts, and records in the CRM system.
  • Collaborative – you will be working with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders within editorial & special projects, logistics, marketing, and conference programming.
