About The Role

We are looking for a Delegate Sales Executive to join our high performing, diverse, and growing team based here in London. The successful candidate will be working closely with key stakeholders in a growing portfolio across a market & world leading portfolio of events across Private Markets, Infrastructure and ESG.  

The ideal candidate is passionate about network and build deep client relationships, strengthening partnerships in order to drive sales and revenues, by focusing on exceptional client experience and linking value to the clients’ needs.

  

Responsibilities and duties

  • Selling delegate places over the phone to senior decision makers in the private equity sector, primarily into UK based markets.
  • Selling event subscription platforms via demonstration to the private markets industry in the UK.
  • Delivering against daily/weekly/monthly targets relating to call volumes, duration, and sales targets.
  • Delivering against KPI metrics and number of demonstrations held of the subscription platform.
  • Assimilating key selling points during event briefing sessions and being able to deliver succinctly and compellingly in verbal and written communication to relevant prospects.
  • Working closely with our internal production function to provide detailed and thorough feedback regarding prospects, pipelines, and progress on each event.
  • Responsible for following & executing the sales strategy across multiple products.
  • Maintaining up to date records in CRM is essential, to ensure that all daily activity, contact with prospective customer and pipeline is fully recorded
  • Keeping colleagues fully informed of your activities through formal reporting procedure with your Sales Leader based in London.
  • Adhering to best practice sales methodology and an openness to training & development is essential.

About You

  • 1 year + experience working in a sales position
  • Experience adhering to KPI metrics
  • Negotiation and objection handling skills
  • An interest in private markets and alternative investing
